my fresh buyed AV-Receiver (29.Sep.16) suddenly displayed the Error Message "Thermal Error" after Cold Start.
Initial display disappears after approx. 10 min. Everything works fine except for the error message.
Nowhere to find anything about this error Message...eMmail support request without result.
The AVR have installed the current released Firmware from 31-08-2016.

I tried:
* disconnect ALL Cables (except the powercord :D )
* another Power Socket
* Factory Set
...with same result-> "Thermal Error"

Web Search let me found an YouTube Clip from France with the same Error .
The Comments shows i'm not alone with THIS Problem :cry:

Has anyone any idea where this came from or how to fix the error ???

Hello again,

the device has NOT been repaired but replaced by the following model (TX-NR656).
NO Information about the reasons...

Almost the same characteristics up to the missing favorites list for own Webradio stations. Unfortunately... :evil:
That was a important Buy Criteria for me...sniff

So, please Onkyo Developer/Supporter an so on:
I hope for a revision in a later Firmware-Update with THIS (Own Web-Radio Favorites) missing Feature !
