Hi rambaupd,

that means, there is something wrong with your center Speaker.
Make this:

1. Disconnect all Speaker wires from the unit

2. Turn on the receiver.
Press and hold "Enter" and then press "Standby" (in order to reset ‘’Diag mode’’). Usually the receiver turns off automatically then go to -4-. If not then proceed to -3-.

3. After that press standby button again to turn the unit off

4. Turn the unit On

5. You can see ‘’Diag mode’’ on the display , then if no problem it would show ‘’SP Wire’’

6. Turn the unit off and connect all SP Wires

7. Turn the unit on , to check the Sound and Video from the unit

If the Diag Mode comes again and again then your receiver needs to be checked by an Onkyo Service Point.

You'll find an address list of Onkyo Authorized Service Center here: ... s-378.html

Please get in contact and make an appointment for the device to be checked.

Best regards
Kind regards
